Red Herring

Red Herring: a fallacy in which an irrelevant topic is presented to divert attention from the original issue.  


The seven artists in this group exhibition and their instructor often explore issues of red herring  in terms of art making whether consciously or unconsciously.  Although we are individually exploring our own red herring and how it relates to our art making we acknowledge that our understanding of the term may differ from one another, our instructor, and our audience.  Perhaps the title of this show is our communal red herring.  

Check out my friends that will be in this group show with me.  You should come out on the 27th.  Beer and wine will be served and great art to talk about.
