The show last night went well. We had a decent turn out considering it was put together at the last minute. I felt like my work was well received. A lot of people asked about the materials and process, and were over all visually attracted to the work; which I would consider the work a success on that note.
The show will remain up until Tuesday. However, my work will not be there. I had to deinstall last night after the show. I have my preliminarily review this coming Monday. This review is with a committee of 4 faculty members (chosen at random) who I will discuss the work I've made this semester thus far. The review is intended to provide feedback and advice on whether or not I'm on a good direction towards my qualifiying review in the spring. The qualifying review (with full faculty) is the real kicker - pass or fail, in or out of the program. I'm sure I'll be stressed to the max next semester. So, I'm doing my best to take this review on Monday seriously and as practice to talk about my work. I'm ready to get this show on the road. In the meantime, here are couple shots of my work installed at last nights show.
